The Good Nazi<\/strong>\u00a0is a documentary that tells the compelling story of Major Karl Plagge, a Nazi officer who, during the Holocaust, was the commandant of a forced labor camp in Vilnius, Lithuania. Despite his position, Plagge used his authority to shelter hundreds of Jewish families, saving many from execution by the SS. The film follows a group of scientists as they uncover the hiding places used by those Plagge saved and identify the mass graves of those who were not as fortunate.<\/p>\n

The documentary also features the stories of a child survivor of the camp and an American physician whose mother was saved by Plagge.\u00a0Through their experiences, the film highlights the moral courage of a man who chose to follow his conscience rather than his orders.<\/p>\n
