Peanut butter and chocolate combined together. What&#8217;s not to love?<\/p>\n<h2>Ingredients:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>1 3\/4 cups flour<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup sugar<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp baking soda<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp salt<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup shortening<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup peanut butter<\/li>\n<li>2 TBS milk<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp vanilla<\/li>\n<li>1 egg<\/li>\n<li>Extra sugar for dipping<\/li>\n<li>48 chocolate kisses, unwrapped<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Directions:<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Combine all ingredients, except extra sugar and kisses, with an electric mixer at low speed, till a stiff dough forms.<\/li>\n<li>Shape dough into 1 inch balls and roll in sugar.<\/li>\n<li>Place balls 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.<\/li>\n<li>Bake at <u><b>375F<\/b><\/u> for <u><b>8-10 minutes<\/b><\/u>.<\/li>\n<li>Immediately top with kisses, pressing down firmly.<\/li>\n<li>Remove from cookie sheet and cool completely before storing.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A much loved classic.
