I have never tried this recipe but I have had it in my notebook for many years. If you try it, please post a comment and let me know the results. Maybe supply some tips for working with this stuff or other ideas on what you can use it for.<\/p>\n<h2>Ingredients:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>1\/2 cup water (boiled)<\/li>\n<li>1 cup sugar<\/li>\n<li>5 TBS corn syrup<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Directions:<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Combine and boil 6-8 minutes till 310\u00b0F on a candy thermometer.<\/li>\n<li>Oil a pan.<\/li>\n<li>Pour in pan.<\/li>\n<li>Cool 30 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Carefully lift from pan and used as desired.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>What can you use this for?<\/h3>\n<p>I had 3 ideas:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>You could use it for the windows in a gingerbread house.<\/li>\n<li>You could skip the gingerbread and build the whole house out of it. (imagine how awesome a glass candy house would look!)<\/li>\n<li>You could use it to make some rather interesting edible Christmas decorations to hang on your tree, instead of the traditional candy canes.
