Heart Like a Wheel is a biographical drama film directed by Jonathan Kaplan. The movie is based on the life of Shirley Muldowney, a pioneering female drag racer, and follows Shirley (played by Bonnie Bedelia) from her early days as a waitress in Schenectady, New York, to becoming a top-fuel drag racer in a male-dominated sport.
