How Long Can a Man Hunt Someone That is Already DEAD?
Santee is an American Western film directed by Gary Nelson and starring Glenn Ford, Michael Burns, and Dana Wynter. The film is notable for being one of the first to be shot electronically on videotape before being transferred to film.
The story follows Jody Deakes, who reunites with his father only to discover that he is part of an outlaw gang pursued by a relentless bounty hunter named Santee. After Santee kills Jody’s father, Jody seeks revenge but eventually learns that Santee is a good man tormented by the death of his own son. Santee and his wife take Jody in, and a father-son relationship begins to develop. The plot thickens when the gang responsible for Santee’s son’s death reappears.
