It only takes one bad bulb to turn off the whole holiday.
Chasing Christmas is a contemporary re-telling of Charles Dickens’ classic novella, A Christmas Carol. This ABC Family film, directed by Ron Oliver and written by Todd Berger, stars Tom Arnold as Jack Cameron, a man with a Scrooge-like personality. Jack’s disdain for Christmas stems from catching his wife with another man during their daughter’s Christmas play, leading him to hate the holiday.
The story follows Jack as he is visited by the Ghost of Christmas Past (Leslie Jordan) and the Ghost of Christmas Present (Andrea Roth). However, things take an unexpected turn when Christmas Past decides to stay in the past, causing Jack and Christmas Present to embark on an adventure to set things right.
It’s a light-hearted and comedic take on the classic tale, with a unique twist that sends the characters on a wild ride through time.
