Not Cinderella’s Type is a modern retelling of the classic Cinderella story, based on the novel by Jenni James. The film follows Indy Zimmerman, a kind-hearted orphan who lives with her emotionally abusive aunt and uncle. Her life takes a turn when a popular boy, Bryant Bailey, accidentally kills her cat and then takes an interest in her.
