Based on the true story of Giacomo “Jackie” DiNorscio (Vin Diesel), a mobster who defended himself in court, charming the jury, in what would be the longest mafia trial in U.S. history. The real Jackie DiNorscio died near the end of the shooting of the film, on November 14, 2004, and never got to see the completed movie.
